
Losliya Mariyanesan (born 23 March 1996 in Kilinochchi, Northern Province, Sri Lanka) is a Sri Lankan Tamil actress and television presenter. Born into a Tamil Christian family originally from the Jaffna District, she grew up in Trincomalee after her family relocated due to the Sri Lankan civil war. She attended St. Mary's College, Trincomalee, and later graduated from Methodist Girls' College, Trincomalee. At 18, she joined the Capital Maharaja Organisation and began her television career with Shakthi TV, hosting the morning talk show Good Morning Sri Lanka (2015-2018). She subsequently worked as a newsreader for News First, a sister channel of Shakthi TV. In 2019, she left Sri Lankan television to pursue opportunities in India, landing a spot as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 within three months of arriving in the country. Her natural charm and emotional openness resonated deeply with Tamil audiences, earning her the nickname 'Next Oviya'. She finished as the second runner-up after 104 days in the house and was named Most Popular Person on Television at the Behindwoods Gold Medal Awards 2019. She made her film debut in Friendship (2021) alongside Harbhajan Singh and has since appeared in Koogle Kuttappa (2022), Gentlewoman (2025), and Mr House Keeping (2025).
