Iykki Berry (real name Dr. Iykya Kamaraj) is an Indian rapper, singer, songwriter, and cosmetic surgeon born on 11 August 1993 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, to C. Kamaraj and his wife. She completed her schooling at Maharishi Vidya Mandir High School, Thanjavur, then earned her MBBS from Sri Venkateswara Medical College Hospital and Research Center in Pondicherry. She later pursued a PG DCC at the University of Greifswald, Germany, and a Masters in Health Technology from Pune, before establishing Berry Glow Aesthetics, her own cosmetic clinic in Chennai. Her stage name was coined by music producer Dev Major, combining 'iykki' (her father's nickname for her) and 'berry' (reflecting the vitamins in berries, tying into her aesthetic medicine work). She trained in music at A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai and was the first Tamil female rapper to receive a VIMA International Music Award nomination, for the politically charged music video Nalai Namadhe. She has collaborated with international artists and released tracks in Tamil and English. She is also the founder of 13 Club Official. In October 2021, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. She was eliminated in Week 8 (Day 55), finishing fourteenth.
