Nivaashiyni Krishnan, popularly known as Nivaa, is a Singapore-born Indian-Tamil model, actress, content creator, and entrepreneur born on 24 March 1995 in Singapore. Her family traces its roots to Paramakudi, Tamil Nadu. She attended Damai Secondary School and Tanjong Katong Primary School in Singapore before earning a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Media and Industries from Goldsmiths, University of London. She began her career as a model, winning the Miss Elegance title at a Malabar Gold & Diamonds event in 2014. After working at Awfully Chocolate (Singapore) and Contineo Media, she shifted to full-time content creation and entrepreneurship, founding her fashion and jewellery brand IV Vault. She appeared in Tamil web series including Unmai Kann Thedutha (2020) and Mullum Malarum (2022) on Mediacorp's YouTube channel. She is known for her motto 'Sincerely imperfect' and her content on self-love and mental health. In October 2022, she made history as the first Singapore-based contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6, entered as a commoner. She was evicted in Week 6, finishing in 16th place. She made her Tamil film debut in Oho Enthan Baby (2025).
