Swetha Varma is an Indian actress and model born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, who works predominantly in the Telugu film industry and is based in Hyderabad. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Symphony (2004), and subsequently entered Tollywood. Her Telugu film career includes roles in Gang of Gabbar Singh (2015), Panileni Puli Raju, Vasham, Mithai (2018), The Rose Villa, Pachchis (2021), Mugguru Monagallu, and Cycle. She gained attention not just for her acting but also for her willingness to speak openly about challenges in the film industry, including the casting couch issue - positioning herself as one of the more outspoken voices among Telugu actresses. She has also appeared in the Telugu action-war film Operation Valentine (2024). In September 2021, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 hosted by Nagarjuna.
