Amir ADS (full name Amir Ahamed) is an Indian dancer, choreographer, and actor born on 22 December 1992 in Kotagiri village, Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu. His early life was marked by tragedy - his father died when he was a child, and his mother passed away shortly after - leaving him to be supported by a mentor, Ashraf, who helped him establish his dance studio. Despite having no formal dance training, Amir taught himself by watching Prabhu Deva and broke the Limca Book of Records by dancing continuously for over 7 hours. In 2011, with Ashraf's support, he founded Amir Dance Studio (ADS Crew Ooty). His troupe went on to win the dance reality competition King of Dance on Star Vijay, the Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship (2019), and multiple other titles on Polimer TV, Jaya TV, and Colors Tamil. He made his television debut on the dance reality show Ungalil Yaar Prabhu Deva Season 1 and entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 in November 2021 as a wildcard contestant, ultimately finishing fourth in the grand finale. He made his acting debut opposite Ajith Kumar in Thunivu (2023). He married fellow BBT5 contestant Pavani Reddy on 20 April 2025. The couple also won BB Jodigal Season 2.
