Imman Annachi (real name Immanuel) is an Indian comedian, actor, and television anchor born on 7 December 1968 in Thiruvaluthinadar Vilai, Eral, Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu. He worked as a vegetable seller for nearly 18 years before breaking into the entertainment industry, a journey he has spoken about candidly. He launched his media career as a presenter on Makkal TV with Konjam Arattai Konjam Settai and subsequently worked for Adithya TV (under Sun Network) before finding his most popular platform on Sun TV with the children's programme Kutties Chutties, where his warm and playful style with young guests made him a beloved figure. He also hosted Kalakka Povathu Yaaru (Vijay TV) as a comedian. He made his acting debut in the Tamil film Chennai Kadhal (2006) and went on to appear in over 53 Tamil films in supporting and comedy roles. His brief appearance in Jilla (2014) - in which Thalapathy Vijay mimics him - became a memorable moment for Tamil audiences. He has also hosted Maanada Mayilada and Zee Super Talent. In October 2021, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. He was eliminated in Week 10 (Day 69), finishing twelfth.
