Suja Varunee is an Indian actress and dancer born on 5 September 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She began her career as a dance performer and item artiste, gaining recognition for her dance sequences in Tamil films. Her notable film credits include Milaga (2010), Rendavathu Padam (2013), Pencil (2016), and Bigil (2019, with Vijay). She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She is married to Tamil actor Shiva Kumar, and the couple won BB Jodigal Season 2 together on Star Vijay. In August 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 as a wildcard contestant in Week 8 alongside Harish Kalyan and Kaajal Pasupathi. She finished 6th after 39 days in the house. She later participated in Bigg Boss Ultimate Season 1 (2022).
