Joey Debroy is an Indian actor born in Shillong, Meghalaya, who is based between Mumbai and Kolkata. Before entering the entertainment industry, he worked in marketing and creative departments in a corporate role in Mumbai, which led him to settle there. He is also a practitioner of martial arts and an enthusiast of skateboarding and bike riding. He made his screen debut with the Hindi film Mumbai 125km 3D (2016) and his Bengali debut with Porichoi (2016). He rose to household fame in Bengal with the daily soap Hridoyhoron B A Pass (2018) and subsequently became a leading man in Bengali feature films including Tui Amar Hero (2020), Mone Rekho (2018), and Biye.com (2021). He has also starred in web series including Pilkunj (2023), Lady Queen Gents Parlour (2023), and Milkshake Murders (2024). In 2016, he participated in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2 as a wildcard entrant in week 4 but was ejected (not evicted) in week 7 for violating house rules, finishing 15th.
