Mahesh Vitta is an Indian actor, comedian, and digital content creator born on 26 December in Proddatur, Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh (popularly known as the Rayalaseema region). He has a sister named Bharathi Vitta. He completed his schooling at S.B. Memorial High School in Proddatur and secondary education at Sri Vidya Junior College in Proddatur. He went on to earn a BA degree from Rani Tirumala Devi Degree College in Proddatur, followed by an MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from TKR College of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad. He began his screen career in the digital space, appearing in over 100 comedy short sketches for the TeluguOne YouTube channel's Fun Bucket series - a popular comedy platform - establishing a devoted fanbase. He transitioned to Telugu cinema with a range of comic and character roles, appearing in films including Paper Boy (2018), Krishnarjuna Yuddham (2018), Taxiwala (2018, with Vijay Deverakonda), Nuvvu Thopu Ra (2019), Ninnu Veedani Needani Nene (2019), and subsequent films. He entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 in July 2019, where his comedic instincts and good-natured demeanour made him a popular housemate. He was evicted in Week 12, finishing 8th. He later returned to the Bigg Boss universe in Bigg Boss Non-Stop (2022) on Aha.
