Shiva Jyothi, popularly known as Teenmaar Savitri or Jyothakka, is an Indian television anchor, newsreader, and digital content creator born on 14 February 1991 in Nagampeta village, Nizamabad district, Telangana, to Rajamallesh and Yashodha; she has a brother named Lohith Subbu. Growing up in a rural Telangana household, she walked 8 km daily for her secondary education since her village lacked a high school. She completed a B.Sc. in Nursing before pivoting to media - a decision driven by her love for communication and performance. She built her fame as the anchor of Teenmaar News on V6 News Channel, delivering entertainment, cinema, and gossip news in her authentic Telangana dialect with a sense of humour and fearlessness that resonated deeply with audiences. Her chemistry with fellow anchor Bithiri Sathi and her signature 'Savitri jackets' became iconic. She was affectionately called Teenmaar Savitri by fans. She married Ganguly Mantri. Post-Bigg Boss, she launched the YouTube channel Jyothakka, which grew to over 1.3 million subscribers featuring family vlogs, lifestyle content, festival celebrations, and personal milestones. She entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 in July 2019, becoming one of the season's most emotionally resonant and outspoken contestants. Her close friendship with Ali Reza was one of the season's highlights. She was evicted in Week 14, finishing 6th overall on 3 November 2019.
