Jeedigunta Vithika Sheru is an Indian actress born on 2 February 1994 in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. She grew up in Bhimavaram and later completed her education in Mumbai and Hyderabad, earning a postgraduate diploma in fashion design from the Lakhotia Institute of Design, Hyderabad. She is married to actor Varun Sandesh (m. 19 August 2016). She began her acting career at age 11 as a child artist in Telugu television serials. Her film debut came at age 15 with the Kannada film Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu (2008), where she was spotted by chance on set while accompanying her aunt (a film stylist). She appeared in another Kannada film Ullasa Utsaha (2009) before establishing herself in Telugu cinema - initially under the screen name Keerthi - in low-budget films like Preminchu Rojullo, Chalo 123, and My Name is Amrutha. Her profile rose significantly with supporting roles in the sports comedy Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu (2010, opposite Nani) and the musical drama Jhummandi Naadam (2010). Her first lead role came in the romantic anthology Prema Ishq Kaadhal (2013, dir. R. Praveen Kumar), on which she also served as costume stylist. Her Tamil debut came with Uyir Mozhi (2014), for which she learnt Braille and spent extended periods blindfolded to authentically portray a visually impaired character. She starred opposite Varun Sandesh in Paddanandi Premalo Mari (2015), where their real-life romance began. In 2019, she and Varun entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 as individual contestants. After Bigg Boss, she faced intense online trolling that triggered a period of depression and suicidal ideation lasting about 3.5 months - an experience she has spoken about publicly to raise awareness about mental health. She was evicted in Week 13, finishing 7th.
