Veera Prashanth Sambargi is an Indian businessman, social activist, film producer, and film distributor born on 6 October 1980 in Belagavi (Belgaum), Karnataka, into a Hindu family. He completed his schooling at Webster High School, Bengaluru, earned a BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) from PES College of Management, Bengaluru (1995-98), and an MBA from TASMAC College, Bengaluru (2000). He began his professional career in 2001 as a direct selling agent in Bengaluru, then joined Reliance Infocomm as DSA-CDMA in 2002, working there for six years before moving to Reliance World in sales and marketing and later business development. In July 2003, he won the Number One DAE (Dhirubhai Ambani Entrepreneurship) Programme Award, presented by Mukesh Ambani at DAKC, Mumbai. In 2009, he co-founded Mars Realty, a real estate brokerage firm, and subsequently founded VIP Square, his own real estate company. He has worked as media manager for Sandalwood actor Arjun Sarja and as a brand builder and advertising technician on various Kannada films. He appeared in the Kannada patriotism video Belesona Kannada (2019) and sang the Modi campaign song Modi Geluvu (2019), reflecting his BJP alignment. In 2020, he was summoned by the Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru in connection with the high-profile Sandalwood drugs controversy, during which he made public allegations against actress Sanjjanaa Galrani. He is married with two sons, one of whom is named Adithya Sambargi. He drives a Range Rover and an Audi, and is a tennis enthusiast. In February 2021, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 8 hosted by Kiccha Sudeep. Also returned for Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 (2022). He finished as the fifth runner-up on 29 August 2021.
