Pravesh Rana is an Indian actor, model, television anchor, and host from Delhi. He built his career in the Hindi entertainment industry through modelling, television appearances, and anchoring work before coming to national attention through his participation in Bigg Boss. He entered Bigg Boss Season 3 as a wildcard contestant on Day 32 (Week 5). Inside the house, he became a controversial figure, notably throwing food into the swimming pool on Day 79 in a fit of frustration with winner Vindu Dara Singh, and then reportedly taking an oath not to eat or drink water for a day as penance. He reached the final three alongside Vindu and Poonam Dhillon, finishing as the First Runner-Up at the grand finale on 26 December 2009.
