Prity Biswas is an Indian actress born on 20 August 1989 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She began her career in Bengali television with Sindoorkhela (2010) and rose to prominence with lead roles in popular serials including Dhulokona, Soudaminir Sansar, Tumi Asbe Bole, Sreemoyee, and Balijhor. She transitioned to Bhojpuri cinema in 2018 with her debut film Raja Jani opposite Khesari Lal Yadav, winning the Sabrang Film Award for Best Debutant Actress. She subsequently starred in Raja with Pawan Singh and Yaara Teri Yaari (2020). She received the Tele Academy Award in 2022 and Kolkata Glitz Awards in 2022 for her work in Dhulokona. She is married to co-actor Rahul Mazumdar (since February 2020) and has a daughter. In 2016, she participated in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2, finishing 6th.
