Raiza Wilson is an Indian actress and model born on 9 April 1989 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She completed her schooling at Nazareth Convent Girls' High School, Bengaluru, and JSS International School, Ooty, before pursuing higher education in Bengaluru. During her studies she worked as a PR, Sales and Marketing Manager at Hint Lounge and Club, Bengaluru. She was crowned HICC Femina Miss South Beautiful Smile at the Femina Miss India 2010-11 pageant. She appeared in over 400 television commercials for brands including Taj Hotels, Amul, Nalli Silks, and GRT Jewellers, establishing herself as one of Tamil Nadu's most sought-after print and TVC models. She made her film debut with an uncredited appearance in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017, dir. Soundarya Rajinikanth). Her lead role opposite Harish Kalyan in the romantic comedy Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018, dir. Elan, produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja) was a breakout success, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut (South) alongside SIIMA and Ananda Vikatan Awards. She subsequently appeared in FIR (2022) and other Tamil productions. In June 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 as one of three non-celebrity contestants (alongside Arav and Maria Juliana). She lasted 62 days and became the longest-surviving original female contestant before being evicted in Week 9, finishing 9th overall.
