Sargun Mehta (born 6 November 1988 in Chandigarh, Punjab) is an Indian actress, television producer, and entrepreneur. She married actor Ravi Dubey on 21 December 2013, and together they founded Humble Motion Pictures and Humble Music — producing landmark Punjabi films, reality shows (including Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 winner Muthukumaran's launchpad Tamil Pechu Engal Moochu), and web content. She made her Hindi television debut with the lead in 12/24 Karol Bagh (Zee TV, 2008). She transitioned to Punjabi cinema and became one of its most celebrated stars through Angrej (2015, opposite Amrinder Gill) — a massive commercial success that cemented her status as Punjabi cinema's top leading lady — and Lahoriye (2017), also a critical and commercial hit. She has appeared in over 30 Punjabi films. In 2023 she won the National Film Award for Special Mention for her performance in Punjabi film Ik Sandhu Hunda Si. In September 2014, she entered Bigg Boss Season 8 as one of the original 15 contestants, but was the very first housemate to be evicted from the season — evicted on Day 1 (after only a single day in the house), finishing 20th and last overall.
