Soni Singh is an Indian television actress based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She built her Hindi television career through a series of notable roles in daily soaps. She became a recognisable face in Hindi TV households through her role as Kalika (also referred to as Arya Devi) in the popular Star Plus drama Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya (2009–2012) — a long-running serial about women's empowerment and domestic violence. She also appeared in Zee TV's Saraswatichandra (2013–2014), one of the most-watched Hindi serials of that period, where she played a supporting role as a friend to the lead character Kumud. In September 2014, she entered Bigg Boss Season 8 as one of the original contestants. She was evicted in Week 5 (Day 35), finishing 16th overall.
