Srabanti Chatterjee (also credited as Srabanti Banerjee) is a leading Indian actress born on 13 August 1987 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She made her debut as a child artist in Mayar Badhon (1997) and had her first lead role in Champion (2003). After a break, she returned with Bhalobasa Bhalobasa (2008) and has since starred in over 50 Bengali films including Amanush (2010), Idiot (2012), Goynar Baksho (2013), Buno Haansh (2014), Shikari (2016), Uma (2018), Bhaijaan Elo Re (2018), and Sada Ronger Prithibi (2024). One of the most commercially successful actresses in Bengali cinema, she has received multiple awards including Tele Cine and BFJA Best Actress recognitions. She has also served as a judge on several seasons of Dance Bangla Dance. In 2016, she participated in Bigg Boss Bangla Season 2, but voluntarily walked out in the first week.
