Sherlyn Chopra (born Sana Khan, 11 February 1984 in Hyderabad, Telangana) is an Indian actress, model, and digital content creator. She has appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films, including Anu (2003), Maaya (2004), and Bollywood productions. She is best known for becoming the first Indian woman to appear on the cover of Playboy magazine (international edition, July 2012) — a milestone she pursued after years of effort and which generated national debate in India. She appeared in Kamasutra 3D (2014) and the web series Raktanchal (2020, in a brief role). She has also been a prominent voice in the #MeToo India movement, filing police complaints against director Sajid Khan and producer Armaan Kohli. She creates content on subscription platforms and has a large social media following. In October 2009, she entered Bigg Boss Season 3 as one of the original contestants, lasting 25 days before being evicted in Week 4, finishing 13th overall.
