Anupama Gowda is an Indian actress who works primarily in Kannada-language films and television. Born on 19 March 1991 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, she began her career as a child artist in the Kannada film Lankesh Patrike (2003). She made her television debut with the reality show Halli Duniya and later appeared in the serials Chi Sou Savitri and Akka, where she played dual roles. She gained significant recognition after participating in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 in 2017, which increased her visibility in the Kannada entertainment industry. She went on to star in the acclaimed film Aa Karaala Ratri (2018) and Thrayambakam (2019), where her portrayal of a journalist earned her the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. She has also hosted the Kannada Kogile talent show and co-hosted the 8th South Indian International Movie Awards.
