Lasya Nagaraj is an Indian actress, model, and dancer from Bengaluru, Karnataka, born on 17 July 1993. She completed her schooling in Bengaluru and earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She also holds a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from VLCC Institute, Bangalore. A trained Indian classical dancer, she taught Bharatanatyam at the Aradhana Institute of Bharatanatyam, Bangalore. She made her television debut with the Kannada dance reality show Dance Dance in 2017 on Suvarna TV, followed by the Kannada serial Padmavathi on Colors Kannada. She gained significant public recognition after entering Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 as a wildcard contestant in 2017 and won the Miss Confident Karnataka 2017 title. She made her Kannada film debut with Asathoma Sadgamaya (2018) and also appeared in Ranganayaki (2019). She has also appeared in Tamil television with Dance Jodi Dance Season 2 on Zee Tamil and the Colors Tamil serial Vandhal Sridevi.
