Shruti Prakash is an Indian actress and singer from Belagavi, Karnataka, born on 4 May 1993. Her father is a Colonel in the Indian Army, which meant she lived in various cities during her childhood. She completed her schooling at Army Public School, Ahmednagar, and earned her degree from Jain College of Business Administration, Belagavi. She began her career in the Hindi television industry, appearing in shows like Dil Dosti Dance (2015) and Ishq Unplugged (2016), before gaining wider recognition with her role as Sita Modi in the popular Star Plus serial Saath Nibhaana Saathiya alongside Devoleena Bhattacharjee. In 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 and became one of the show's finalists, finishing in fifth place. After the show, she made her Kannada film debut with Londonalli Lambodhara (2019) and has since appeared in films like Sree Bharatha Baahubali (2020) and Kadala Theerada Bhargava (2023). She also lends her voice to music.
