Tejaswini Prakash is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Kannada films and television. Born on 17 December 1987, she grew up in Bengaluru in a family deeply connected to the Kannada entertainment industry. Her father was a fight master for over 150 Kannada films, and her mother Vinaya Prakash is a well-known Kannada television actress. She made her Kannada film debut in 2007 with Masanada Makkalu and is best known for her performance in Mathad Mathadu Mallige opposite the legendary Dr. Vishnuvardhan. She has appeared in numerous Kannada and Telugu films including Gaja, Aramane, Bandhu Balaga, and Goolihatti, the latter earning her a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She made her television debut in 2016 with the Kannada serial Niharika on Star Suvarna and later played the lead role of Lavanya in Nannarasi Radhe on Colors Kannada. In 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 as a contestant but voluntarily exited on Day 23 due to her father's hospitalisation, later returning for a brief period.
