Jaffar Babu is an Indian journalist, news anchor, and television host from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, later based in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). He comes from a Muslim family and built his career in Telugu news journalism over many years. He works at TV9 Telugu as an input editor and hosts the celebrity and political interview program Mukha-Mukhi, where his direct, unfiltered questioning style frequently draws guests - and Jaffar himself - into controversy. He is a regular subject of social media discussion and trolling for his candid on-air comments. He entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 in July 2019, bringing his outspoken journalistic persona into the house environment. He was one of the first contestants evicted, leaving in Week 2 after being nominated twice consecutively, finishing 16th overall.
