Jaya Sreenivasan is a celebrated numerologist, astrologer, palmist, Vastu expert, and NaadiShastra specialist from Attibele, near Bengaluru, Karnataka. Born to Ramaswamy and Shakuntala, he married Deeksha in 1994 on the recommendation of Yogi Vedatri Maharshi and is a devoted follower of Lord Sharabeshwara. He founded several institutions including the Jayasreenivasan Vedic Vastu Research Foundation, Sri PrathyankiraSharabheshwaraMahasamsthana Trust, Jayasreenivasan Astro Numerology & Occult Science Academy, and Jayasreenivasan Real Gem Jannass Shoppe. A familiar face on Kannada television, he has appeared on channels including Udaya, Suvarna, Kasturi, TV9, Samaya, Zee Kannada, and Sri Sankara. He hosted the popular show Kala Nirnaya on Kasturi TV. He received the Maha Nandi and Seva Dhureena award in 2005, and the Karnataka Vikas Ratna Award in 2006. In 2017, he was the very first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 house and remained until Week 11.
