Archana Suseelan is an Indian actress born on 6 October 1989 in Pune, Maharashtra. Her father, Susheelan (a retired Deputy Commandant of Police), is Malayali, and her mother, Seema, is Nepali. She has a brother, Rohit Suseelan (an IT engineer, formerly married to Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 contestant Arya Babu), and a sister, Kalpana Suseelan (a model). She completed her schooling in Pune and her graduation in Kerala. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. Her television debut came with the Asianet show Mandrake (2005), and she became widely recognised through her role as Gloria in the long-running serial Ente Manasaputhri (2007-10), establishing herself as a skilled performer of negative and complex roles across Malayalam and Tamil television. Her Tamil film debut was in Tholaipesi (2007), and her Malayalam film debut was in Kaaryasthan (2010) alongside Mohanlal. She has also appeared in music videos including Hey Lovely and Kanakuyilukal. In 2014, she started her own fashion store in Thiruvananthapuram. In 2017, she was a top-four finalist in the stunt reality show Dare The Fear. In June 2018, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1 and was one of its strongest contestants, completing 90 days before being eliminated in Week 13 and finishing seventh. She married businessman Manoj Yadav in March 2014.
